Facts on Rhodes Scholarship

Cecil Rhodes –

  • Became a Freemason but was disillusioned.
  • His will left a vast fortune to start up the Rhodes Scholarship programme at Oxford
  • Aim was to raise up promising young graduates
  • Establish secret society for leading business & banking leaders are around world

Auguste Comte –

  • Wrote the 6-volume set titled Positive Philosophy between 1830-1842
  • Studied by WT Stead, Rhodes close friend

W T Stead –

  • Helped Rhodes develop his secret society’s plan to “take the government of the whole world”
  • His goal was a “Civic Church”, where increasingly a focus of attention will be “Service to Humanity,” including taking care of the environment and the Earth

John Ruskin –

  • Taught “New World Order” plan at Oxford Uni.
  • Rhodes was greatly influenced by Ruskin’s teaching
  • On his grave is the Swastika of Hitler.

Rhodes Scholarship –

  • Lord Nathan Rothschild was appointed as trustee
  • Rothschild appointed Lord Alfred Milner to implement plan.
  • Created the Round Table, formed around a document called Freedom & Planning.
  • Original Round Table membership was only freemasons
  • Administrators of the Round Table included

    HG Wells
    Arthur Balfour
     – politician
    Lord Rothschild
    Arthur Toynbee
     – historian
  • Worked very closely with London School of Economics founded by Sidney Webb.

    Mission is to analyse and promote the understanding of major international issues & current affairs.
    It is regarded as one of the world’s leading organizations in this area.
